Burgundy night. Started off with a nice champagne followed by a Cali roussanne to calibrate the palates.
Lemon tart on the nose. Really nice and sharp acidity (more so than I get with nose mersaults). Orange rind on the palate. Oak is difficult to find here, actually. — 7 years ago

2018 vintage. For his fun "Goutte du Seigneur" label Bernard Duseigneur buys organic grapes (his own vineyards are biodynamically farmed). This is a Grenache - Syrah blend and it's absolutely delicious even if a bit more bottle age is recommended. Smells like freshly crushed black cherries and flowers. Gorgeous bright cherries, fresh acidity and a nice ripe tannic bite. Very serious wine for the price. — 6 years ago

Claudine Gaunoux owns an amazing slice of Goutte d'Or. The 08 is sensational. No oak just Inox in the making of this burg! — 10 years ago

Lovely, engaging natural red wine. Deep red color. Burst if aroma. Tastes better after some airing. Has just a little bubble that strikes the tongue on first sips — 8 years ago
Merci @Xavier Davila super, plus complexe que la dernière, un peu moins soyeux, mais toujours hyper bien! — 8 years ago

100% Grenache from the Ardeche. Candied fruit, watermelon agua fresca, Herbes de Provence. A little lighter bodied than I expected but enjoyable. Takes a chill well. I had this with pot roast which was too heavy of a pairing for this wine. Would have be a good wine to enjoy chilled with dinner al fresco, beautiful weather, and some nice food off the grill. — 5 years ago
