No wait.. It's pure funky . Reminds.me a bit of La Clarine 2013 Sumu Kaw, a bit softer tannins even. Blackberry blueberry olive and tar. Not a small wine but not too ripe. Not too extracted. Yummy. — 10 years ago

Absolutely worth the hype. Meaty and intense Mourvèdre: far darker than those of (I.e.) la clarine farm and dirty & rowdy, but with that same brightness, aromatic intensity, and vivacity that typifies the "new California" style. This is seriously impressive stuff. — 11 years ago
