Can't recall where I found this bottle, but happy to "rediscover" it deep in my cellar. Honeysuckle and Granny Smith apple still prevalent on the nose. Very nice at 18+ years. — 7 years ago
Toasty aromas with some pear skin. Very clean and crisp with just a hint of unctuousness. — 8 years ago
Still tingles with citric acid on the tip of the tongue, but opens up into a sweet, round, perfumed wine with a big body and viscosity. More grapefruit pith this time than tangerine. Too sweet for me, but a customer looking for sweet would be delighted by the subtlety here. — 8 years ago
A great expression of Riesling. Funky at first but blew off to a really great wine. High acid, some RS & about As classic as you can get. — 9 years ago

Woo Hoo... First one to post this bottle in Delectable 😁
On the Lawn at Tanglewood this evening to enjoy Andris Nelsons conducting the BSO in their first complete performance of Wagner's "Das Rheingold" at this venue, very exciting! We enjoyed "Die Walküre" last summer, so even though they're playing out of sequence, we're blessed to hear it none the less.
Tonight we have a trendy German SB, a very light citrus aroma, racy palate that does not back down, maybe some red current in there? Blind I would be hard pressed to guess as SB. Nice wine to begin the evening. — 7 years ago
Huge South African Shiraz. Deep dark color...deep earthy full mouth feel. Really a great, classic representation of Stellenbosch big reds! Lovely. Reminds me of our time there....makes me long for a bush walk in the veldt of Kruger Park — 7 years ago
Razor sharp, lemon zest with stone fruit and wet stone. Yum! Dances in your mouth, lingers pleasantly. All the stuff I want out of a Riesling. — 9 years ago
