Dried fruits, figs, almonds, nuts, caramel. Very aromatic — 7 years ago
This is the Porto Rocha 10 Year Old Tawny. Tastes more like a 20 yo Tawny. Lovely notes of fig and dates. Lovely Rancio nose. Long finish. Delicious! — 7 years ago
Burnt brick red/brown on the eye. Medjool dates, dried cherries, cigar box, cedar on the nose. Palette sees more of that delicious cooked dates in butter, sweet caramelized vinegar, tart cherries, medium- acid, long, savory, buttery finish. Delightful port and love the age on this and also like that the alcohol is not overwhelming- it’s integrated into wine. Not dead yet and lots of vigor to be enjoyed! — 8 years ago

Very light. Love it. Vintage 2009. — 8 years ago
This is a vintage (1978) tawny port, which I think is unique to Kopke. It was bottled in 2017, which makes it a 39 year tawny from a single vintage. This stuff is liquid nirvana. The color is a flowing andesine gemstone in the glass. The nose is cinnamon, vanilla, stewed cherry, baked peach and apple pie. More cinnamon and spice in the mouth along with vanilla bean ice cream and a mulled fruit symphony. The finish is tangy and sweet with long lasting acid. The best tawny port I have ever tasted. — 8 years ago

Bottled in 2007. 53 yeets old. Better to open a couple days prior. Creamy complex finish lasts forever. Nearly perfect. — 6 years ago
