Beautiful, complex, old-fashioned Kabinett. Light and airy, understated peachfruit, fabulous minerality and a typical earthy, gravelly, hearty soy-like complexity. Juicy pears, petrol and wet slate all up in my hizzie. Another great pair for my wife's ham loaf, with fruit and off-dry sweetness to play against the salty porkaliciousness. This should keep getting better with age too, but drinking extremely well now! — 10 years ago

Rich purple in color with a nose full of sage and mountain herbs, this mouthwatering wine has fruity notes of blackberry and raspberry that introduce a muscular structure with earthy notes. A highly focused wine, delectable and powerful, composed of succulent fruit, aromatic spice and marvelous piquancy. Pairs well with chocolate desserts!
