$6 Wegmans bottle kitten night — 9 years ago
Dinner with Ray Johns and Kitten at Perry. Gorgeous wine. Nice dry finish. — 10 years ago
That is spot on. Just enough nose, lean profile, pure finish. Pair with Salmon. Swish. — 10 years ago
'I can't tell you what this is blind but I can tell you it surrrrre is delicious'. Rich and earthy and just these tasty chewy tannins and fairly bright fruit just starting to find its secondary characteristics. This is one of those wines I didn't even want to swallow - just swish forever! — 11 years ago
Fluffy like a small white kitten. Alice treated 60$ at porto vivo. Light, voluptuous, yet fierce. Like a large cat. — 11 years ago

Amazing. Chalk, fresh lime, swish. Oysters. Boom. — 12 years ago
#atlasofwine felt like taking a good picture tonight! I've been calling Atlas "The Superlative Kitten" because of our calling him the fluffiest, handsomest, cuddliest cat. He's also the most photogenic. (Proud dad disclosure.) McLaren Vale shiraz here and a darn good one! Loaded up on the lavender/violet, ripe forest blueberry jam with fresh cracked white pepper, dare I say eucalyptus, mint jelly, sandalwood. The palate delivers fresh dark fruit and is drier than expected. 👏🏼 — 9 years ago
Sweeter than a port normally is, but I loved it. — 10 years ago
Chocolate, black currant, spice, tobacco, dark sugar, and leather. Ripe dark red currant and leafy. Edgy tannins sneaking out through the finale swish. — 10 years ago
Initial sip taste like many other sweet reds. Swish it around to pull out another level of flavor. Fun to drink. — 10 years ago
THIS is an inky dark wine. Holding it against a white, well lit background I can barely see through the glass. On the nose, cherry, tree bark, an dark chocolate….in fact, my first impression was a dark chocolate sauce with melted butter mixed it along with some spice: we’re talking a “hint of mole sauce” here…on the nose, and it’s brilliant. I’m very familiar with this producers Malbec, and I’m kinda of a “self-proclaimed expert” on the region and terroir…but man, this wine has expression! Medium bodied, on the pallate I get a spicy, smooth taste of pecans and oak…but it’s not overpowering….there’s even a slight raisiny hint in there, but only after you swish it three or four times and let it open up. The finish is sharp with a sligh acidity and pepper. To summarize, this is a complex, balanced wine that is really interesting and fun to drink. I’m somewhat spoiled in that I’m kind of a FANATICAL NUT when it comes to wines from Mendoza…but trust me on this one, although the pro’s rate this an 8.5 they are WRONG. This is a solid 9.0. I stand by that rating, and I’ll happily win every argument that opposes this. The Alamos Red Blend 2012 is the GRAND DEFINITION of a 9.0 wine. Get this. You’re welcome.

Full throttle sex kitten that simply dances on your tongue with both finesse and power. Velvety integrated tannins and deep blueberry concentration. Fantastic wine that paired well with ribs!. — 11 years ago
Delicious and smooth. Swish around and let it slide down your throat. Great finish and taste. Great label as well. — 13 years ago
still so young and just beginning to show with lots of applied air (swish swish) — 8 years ago
Here comes the best top to bottom producer at the de Maison tasting today. This is steel tank ferment, 3 month in used oak, 48 year old vines. That's a swish if you want value Rioja. — 9 years ago
🐱💦 pee-like notes. bitterness. A stressed kitten known to lap lemon-lime Gatorade. 👌🏻 — 9 years ago
Sacred Thirst tasting. Bring me spicy tapas and a bottle of this. Swish. — 10 years ago
Tart fruits on the nose, melon and orange. Smooth on the palete with a medium body. Minor minerality and acid on the swish. Balanced finish that is very drinkable by itself.

Pay attention to this one- it has a lot going on! Really get in there: swirl, sniff, swish vigorously... love! Young, but lovely. The leathery Brett pulled me in, followed by juicy red and blue fruits, dusty pencil shavings, black pepper and balanced acid. Now I wish I had more than this one bottle. Arrrgghh! — 10 years ago
Fantastic, very fruity and full. Swish it around a little. — 11 years ago
Very easy Rioja drinking wine with pleasant notes of blackberry currant. Interesting sidebar is that it stains your teeth temporarily. Make sure and swish water. — 11 years ago
Oaky with a side of kitten — 12 years ago

Delicious right out of the bottle, vanilla notes dark cherries. Even better after 30-min. Take a big mouthful and swish around. — 8 years ago
