The pale golden straw color is appealing, while the nose certainly isn’t scaring anyone away. Clean earth notes define the apple, papaya and lime aromas beautifully. The palate shows off-dry pear, apple and Meyer lemon flavors on a bed of acidity. Finishing long, it’s the earth and citrus that stays around after the sip. The wine’s body makes it a lot more versatile that just “salads and sipping.” Winemaker Markus Niggli recommends you pair it with anything off the grill. — 10 years ago

Minerally, some fruit, somewhat floral. Delicious! — 13 years ago
Delish. Sweet but acidic enough to not be cloying at all. Like a tart melon drizzled with honey. — 8 years ago
Awesome fruity flavour and aroma, very citrus-y. Has a "barely there" colour which makes it feel almost ethereal. Tried as part of my 30th birthday wine tasting and would absolutely drink again if I could find it! — 9 years ago

Honey suckle, grapefruit, and oranges on nose. Full bodied, off dry, with low acidity. Palate mimicks the nose. Probably good with a fruity dessert. (Pink grapefruit sorbet?) — 10 years ago
Very interesting and enjoyable. Smells like a Riesling but tastes so different. Great acid and fruit. Love it now and I would imagine it will be better in several years. — 11 years ago

This was such a fun taste. Brought to me by a customer after discussing Chinese and Japanese wines. Drinks like the Kerner you’d find in Italy. Fresh floral, pineapple, pears, and white peppercorn on the finish — 8 years ago
Breaktime from Xmas shopping with a refreshing lift from the Isarco Valley. Kerner is a personal favorite. With its lilting crisp acidity, white florals, honey, slate, and ripe green apple. Tiny bit of flabbiness which I'll chalk up to a bad vintage but makes up for it with a reasonably long finish. — 9 years ago
