The 1993 Pichon LaLande is great right now. Younger daughter's birthyear wine, drank with '89 Lynch Bages at Christmas dinner. More fruit than spice/tar in nose. Good acidity with softer tannins in the finish. Nice cherry fruit on the palate. Fruit lingered well in the finish. Drink up over next couple years. — 9 years ago
Maybe it’s the perfectly grilled ribeye talking but sappy, sanguine and delicious — 2 years ago
Kermit comes through as usual. Great with some skirt steak chimichurri. Decanted for 30 mins. — 7 years ago
Based on previous ratings this benefited from some time. Really nice. Funky in that good, French way. Great fruit. Earthy. Had with a nice fall roasted squash salad. Good night. — 8 years ago
Kermit Lynch rarely misses, loved this. — 10 years ago
Kermit lynch! Is so beautiful tastes lighter but more different than any Gamay from Beaujolais I've had. It's hard going higher than 9.1 but maybe it should. But how do you put it in the world of real burgundies that just need age? I'm going 9.1 and saying it's sick. — 10 years ago

Really chewy tannins for the age with this producer, but it eventually settled down w some air. Seemed much more like the structure of its Kermit cousin at Tempier vs what I expect from younger Gros Nore bottlings. Pleasantly surprised. This could go another 10 years easily. — 4 years ago

Stefan Dolhain
2015 vintage. 49% Merlot, 46% Cabernet Sauvignon, 6% Cabernet Franc, and 1% Petit Verdot. From the Cazes stable (Lynch Bages). Surprisingly light on its feet, especially compared to the Haut- Condissas Médoc 2015 tasted alongside. Floral and elegant, more like a Margaux than a Saint- Estèphe. Ready to drink. Abv. 13,5 %. — 9 months ago
