I’m a sucker for Merlot... this one doesn’t disappoint at all. The Grand Reserve is clearly worth the few extra bucks more — 8 years ago

Consumed 06/2020. Received this in one of my shipments and aged it for a few years. Flavor profile is deep black cherry, Cassis and red current flavors. — 5 years ago
Nice color of pink, like grapefruit. Nose of peach, ripe banana, some spice, and quite sweet from the nose. Taste follows similar notes with ripe tropical fruits and some more zest, and indeed some flowering note. Aftertaste is a bit short, but the entire experience is more than pleasant. — 7 years ago
Dark purple, plush, long finish. — 8 years ago

Fruity aroma, subtle tongue taste and dry, slightly acidic finish — 5 years ago
The purest a Vidal can get. Primary aromas of apricot, but the age allowed for some nice caramel complexities to show up. Rich on the palate with strong honey tones and a touch of citrus hiding in the back. Really lingers too, and paired well with a salted caramel cheesecake. — 7 years ago

Received in a shipment, most likely 2014 or 2015. Consumed 07/2017. — 8 years ago
There was a time when I thought this was the best Merlot made.... it was about $8 then... just paid $15.49 and saved about $4.50 with the grocery shoppers discount card....still fairly stellar — 8 years ago
