Love how fruit forward this wine is! Bright and pleasant tannins. Cherry, spices, cocoa/coffee finish; very enjoyable! — 4 years ago
Naked wines. Really liked it, full bodied and very fruity. Perfect with steak. Not particularly complex but solid to our big red palate — 4 years ago
Family-owned and operated artisan producer of wine, started in 1999 by Dr John and Karen Bergstrom. Had a bottle year ago, dark red with fresh berry fruit flavors with a bit of earthy spice notes. On the palate, cherry and raspberry flavors with complex herb spice notes. Fine tannins on lingering finish ending with enticing earthy character. Aged well, very nice Pinot. — 5 years ago

Nose is very saline. Some hazelnuts.
Palate is rich. No longer oaky (integrated) but it’s not bashful. Lovely salinity. Very Good balance for a rich wine.
I need to have this with chicken with cream sauce and morels.
This is ready to drink.

Family-owned and operated started in 1999 by Dr John and Karen Bergstrom. Dark Ruby with fresh ripe berry fruit flavors with floral spice notes. On the palate, cherry and raspberry flavors with complex herb and citrus notes. Fine tannins on long finish ending with slight earthy character. Drink now while it’s fresh, will benefit from short-term aging. — 4 years ago
My favorite Angel wine so far! So flavorful, like Concord grapes and currant. — 5 years ago
Big, brooding earthy Pommard nose. Stoney some dark cherries and licorice. Elegant and mineral and after some coaxing gorgeous florals. Sense of deepness as well. Big and so juicy, man I love the bold intensity of Pommard. Dense and complex with almost painfully complex fruit and wonderful velvety tannins that are prominent. Terrific depth and swath to the tannins. Awesome length, acidity and freshness. Will be better in 5 years but great today. — 6 years ago
The epitome of PG IMHO, this is my ideal afternoon cocktail wine. It is medium bodied yet crisp, with just enough honey and apple flavors to make it feel refreshing and invigorating, yet restrained enough not to taste like a dessert wine or dry the palate.

"Mahi is long enough for real substance without that awful syrupy quality so common in other whites. There's a note in there that some describe is funk, but we'd call grassy." According to Karen MacNeil "New Zealand Sauvignon blancs have no parallel in the world." — 4 years ago
