This is a serious value (12,5€ or 16 USD in retail here in Poland) . Cherry, raisins, almonds very seductive nose. The palate is well balanced. Rather simple with some strong acid backbone, loads of ripe cherry with a sweet layer that bring some roundness to the overall feeling of this palate. Discreet tannins before a fresh finish with fruits. This is really easy going and confirming that I'm really into ripasso and amarone from veneto lately. I have a similar crush with it that I had a year ago with nice crus from Beaujolais — 7 years ago
Last wine in our flat in Paris before relocating to Warsaw, Poland. A 10 because this wine in this vintage is probably the one I’ve had the most over the time we’ve spent here. Nose of rose petal, cherry, a bit of a humid forest soil scent too which I haven’t smelled with this one before. The palate is, as always, a model of balance with striking acids, lots of fruits (cherry, red forest berries). A light kick in the end of the palate with a nice finish with cherry and raspberry. A nice grip all along the palate. Not as wide and opulent as I recalled it but much more subtle, contemplative. I like it so much! Now I can’t wait to taste my first wine in our new flat in Warsaw! — 7 years ago

Raspberry variant of a common polish dessert wine. Really sweet as expected with a good raspberry finish. Does not appear to be fake. — 8 years ago

bought directly at the vineyard :-) — 4 years ago
The nose shows syrah usual traits : pepper, blackberry, there is even a bit of bacon in there! Definitely northern Rhone red. The palate is well balanced, there is a good acid drive in there, there is a bright fruit, some width, some matter, a good mouthfeel, lively tannins with a drying effect in mid palate and a long finish with fruit and pepper and that drying effect for quite a long time. I have been missing that wine for as long as we moved to Poland. I used to buy it from the grocery store downstairs back in Paris for 8 euro. I was so psyched to find it in the Wine shop downstairs here in Warsaw! As always, this is a solid CDR. — 5 years ago
Mixes nicely, works as a primary, secondary, garnish, it’s a little too expensive, but nonetheless, very very solid — 7 years ago
High 9.4% ABV and a nice coffee/whiskey flavor. I'm not a big fan of these flavors in my beer but I can roll with this. You will feel the buzz in no time. Matter of fact you will be quoting lines from the movie "Boss N💛gga" after you finish off this pint. Lol — 8 years ago
Much too young but ... when paired with red meat it unveils its potential : superb nose of sour cherry, blood, a bit of térébenthine too. Some spices. A profound, intense nose that makes us think and reflect on the wine. The palate is much too young but the sour cherry little song plays again among subtle tannins and along a long acid backbone that wants to go the extra mile. Red berries play a little part in this piece and raspberry comes at last. Very nice work. Would love to come to it again in 5-7 years. Fun fact : we are currently spending Christmas time with the in laws in Warsaw, Poland. This winemaker is of polish descent. His great grandfather came to France in the early years of the 20th century to make wine in burgundy. It's quite consistent with our life story that we open this wine during our Christmas diner! — 8 years ago

4 cans for $4 so can’t go wrong ! Typical euro Pilsner taste, a bit less hoppy than some, with a softer body. Great value for a hot afternoon! — 7 years ago
Smooth, good tasted vodka. — 8 years ago
Good value. 29 PLN (7,50€) in Poland. Quite concentrated. Classic berry Bordeaux on the nose. Velvety tannins. Red berries and meat. Moderately long finish — 9 years ago

First bottle of a batch that I ordered from my favourite wine merchant in France and that got delivered to my door in Poland.
An old friend that I have missed dearly. Apple, honey, waxy notes and some flowery scents too. This is multidimensional and very great. The palate shows a massive acid backbone, as expected, some stone fruits touches, a great width, a very long and fresh finish with a chalky mouthfeel almost. This is a great chenin. Oh have I missed this! — 3 years ago
