The brick red '89 Château Cantemerle Red Bordeaux Blend Haut-Médoc has everything an older Bordeaux can offer. A complex bouquet of spicy cedar, plummy black fruits, tobacco, au jus, truffle and leather scents. Oh my! Delicious, rich and mature. Silky smooth tannins lead to a rewarding earthy finish. I'll open my last bottle of this classic on our 25th anniversary this coming November. A perfect wine for the occasion. — 11 years ago
