How about just "Yes" burnt Carmel nutty dry well balanced. Perfectly paired with olive oil cake. Beautiful. This is the third sherry from this producer I have drank in the past 2 months and each one outdoes the previous one. Pure heaven that goes on and on. Nothing else needs to be said. If you are able to acquire this, I strongly recommend you jump on this beauty!! — 9 years ago
Tasty brew. Not bitter and not too sweet. The perfect ale. — 9 years ago
Very biotic up wine that seemed to jump out of the glass. — 10 years ago
Thatcher is such an underrated little family winery in paso hills by Justin. If you ever see some of these make sure to jump on it. — 10 years ago
Has most of the great qualities of the 2012, but could stand for a little bottle aging or a decant. Not sure it's quite worth the $$ after the ~35% jump over last year, sad to say — 10 years ago
One of the originals. Love it. — 11 years ago

Sticky Chardonnay — 12 years ago
Super bright, carbonic type aromas. Red fruits and rose jump out. Silky and almost weightless in the palate but with lovely texture, fruit and spice. — 9 years ago
This83 was better than the last couple I drank and very sexy almost Bordeaux like in the nose. The wine drank well from jump street and it was awesome to taste. — 9 years ago
Great with chicken, pumpkin and potatoes — 9 years ago
You know it's great when you have had 3 bottles prior and your taste buds still jump with joy. — 10 years ago
Perfect Pinot before a Krug tasting. Light, but rich fruits and a slightly sweet finish. — 10 years ago
Bang for ya buck!! — 10 years ago
Love how the savory components jump forward with brie, sourdough, cheddar, lees, and Sandy Clayey texture — 10 years ago

Friday nights wine comes from the right bank of Bordeaux - Canon Fronsac. The 2010 Chateau Moulin Haut Laroque 65% Merlot, 25% Cabernet Franc, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Malbec. The Herve family first started making wine back in 1890 and continue to today. A great track record and delivering a well valued Bordeaux.
The nose is very expressive with dark fruits of black plum, blackberry, black currant, licorice, clove, coffee beans and tar.
Upon first sip black cherries jump out at you full force, with blueberries, a smooth coating of creme de cassis and dried oregano.
There is a nice full bodied mouth feel with medium + acidity and medium sandy tannins.
For the price this is a very nice and serviceable Bordeaux.

Straw yellow and turbid, grapefruit and pineapple jump out of the glass. Full bodied, ripe, and concentrated with tasteful oak treatment and great acidity. — 9 years ago
The smell didn't quite make me jump but it really grew on me and the flavor is light, a little fruity and pleasant. Very drinkable. Will order again. — 9 years ago
Light and refreshing. I don't care for wines that are too sweet or dry, so this fit the bill. — 9 years ago
Oh my heavens. I could wax poetic about Vietti all day. Violets and crushed purple roses jump out of the glass, followed by tart bramble fruits, high acid, and gripping tannins. Nebbiolos smell like the Deep South in summer: wisteria and hot asphalt. — 10 years ago
What are you wading for?! Jump right in! This was deliciously smooth. — 10 years ago
Budget alert...neighboring wineries go for 2-3x. Jump on this one at 1/2 the cost. Up and comer. — 10 years ago
I am so happy to be trying this Pinot Grigio from north eastern Italy, Alto Adige. I have read a few articles on this region and my friend Erik had been taking it up lately so I had to jump in with both feet. The aromas are wonderful with peach, pear, melon, cotton candy, and bubble gum. The palate is very smooth with a rich round mouthfeel and the full fruit of peach and pear. There is a bright & lively acidity and a touch of chalky minerality on the backend. This is at a great QPR $16.79 — 11 years ago
Full body, off sweet, mushroom and earth and butter and zing. Nicely complex. — 12 years ago
F the label, I'd still jump through "Hoopes" for this Napa Cab... #tanninsfordays — 12 years ago
