2014 vintage of Tidal Bay by Benjamin Bridge is 9.5%ABV and wonderful Canadian East Coast gem. Aroma and palate of stone fruit, citrus notes, hint of herbaceousness. Perfect pairing. Had it with lemon spaghetti and jumbo shrimp. Fat and lemon combo in the oil based sauce and the acid in the wine was dynamite. Wine had an unexpected rich texture almost like a Chardonnay once it was paired with food. Good without food, but so much better with it. Not overly perfume-y but very rich aromatics.
