I must be something right, the outlaws gave me this bottle and it's a superstar... It is super with a meal and just for a glass.. It's flavours are berryesque with the taste dancing across the tongue.. Bacchus when we meet I will open this first.... Let my journey for the perfect vault continue — 9 years ago
Great to meet Ellen Cavalli co-owner of Tilted Shed today and hear about their journey into cider making. Loved this cider! — 9 years ago
This is like a journey through a baby animal barnyard .. Like sweet hay and ripe vine fruits that have fallen to their peril so a happy pig could eat it ... Starts off peppery and fruity and then hits with a surprisingly scrumptious alcohol finish — 10 years ago
Our journey now darks a dark murky turn towards the castle of the pope. This is going to be good at 11 yrs old — 10 years ago
A long way for a BC guy to go for a Pinot Gris. Tasty journey though. — 10 years ago

When you pop one and decant and then taste you never really know what to expect but gratefully my family on Delectable has helped me so much - I know it is holidays speaking but we have so much as a group to thankful for - to you and yours - have a glorious holiday
This wine has been resting for a long time - I have decided to start drinking wines that I was storing as I cannot take them with me so Dilly Dilly
What a wine what a wine what a mighty good wine
Dark purplish red as is the season - when I taste I immediately smile and laugh with hohoho sound - the smell is amazing with all the kitchen sink ingredients but somehow I smell mistletoe and cinnamon - ''tis the season again" - and the finish is long like when you watch a big snowflake fall from the sky - it takes forever and ever
Starting my annual Christmas wine journey and again thank you folks for making the wine taste even better with your likes and comments - more wine to come tonight and tomorrow
Smiling for so many reasons and happy holiday — 6 years ago
Still a baby but what a journey during 4 hours — 7 years ago
12 year old wine on our 4th year anniversary. It has been a wonderful journey so far and I'm sure the best has yet to come. Never been happier.

What an incredible Pinot Noir! It will take you on a wild red fruit journey, with twists and turns into middle earth. This is one of my top 10 wines of 2014! (October 30, 2014, San Francisco, CA) #redwines #pinotnoirs #centralcoast #californiawines — 9 years ago
The owner has no internet connection, no phone, nada! Good luck buying from the source unless you make the journey! — 10 years ago
Drank really well. Changed over 3+ hours but a nice journey. — 10 years ago
Arguably the greatest Riesling of the Niagara Region. Journey worthy wine - @goodearthwinery — 11 years ago
Very nice white wine, but not very complex at the same time. Stand alone, it is a citrus packed, high acid, crisp white similar to the way a dry Sémillon from Australia drinks. Combined with the Mediterranean spices in Greek and Med cuisine, and it is perfectly at home. Might just take a little journey through Greek wine this next month and see what I find! — 6 years ago
Mainly Grenache with roughly equal parts of Syrah and Cinsault.
I have never been a fan of France's hot 2003 vintage in general. However, last couple of encounters have shaken my prejudice.
This Gigondas definitely drank like it was bathed in a long heatwave for sure with very low acidic structure, soft tannin, and dried stewy red fruit characters. However, it kept me interested with the enticing Southern Rhone unique profile of grilled gamey meat, iodine, green olive, dried mint and damp earth.
This wine will not hold any longer. It's on its last leg but what a journey! 91. — 6 years ago
The best Rioja I've ever tried! Deep, rich flavors, and a smooth, oaky finish. This Rioja took me on a journey to old España and back! — 7 years ago
Real really good — 7 years ago
I've been on a two year Zin journey. I had high hopes for this one, and perhaps I am being overly critical... This Napa Zin didn't have the same depth as I have enjoyed from other areas of wine country. (Lodi and Dry Creek seem to have great character.) Still an enjoyable wine with our spicy dinner. — 8 years ago
'92-'12 Vertical...great journey through a decade of wines from KF! — 9 years ago
Absolutely stunning. — 10 years ago
Half-bottle. The wine was medium amber in colour and offered orange peel, apple, honeycomb, caramel, smoke, spices, sherry and a mouldy note on the nose. On the palate the wine showed orange, peach, apple, cane sugar, caramel, smoke, spices, creamy honey, some coffee, a hint of chocolate, sherry, mild black tea and a mouldy note, paired with medium-plus acidity, a creamy honey mouthfeel and very good length. Judged by this half-bottle the wine has just passed its plateau and started its slow journey on the downward slope. A good, medium-bodied Sauternes with lots of botrytis character. Drink now. 89 — 10 years ago

Thursday night and I have pulled the trigger on the 2014 La Dame de Montrose Staint-Estèph. 50% Merlot, 45% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Petit Verdot. I've been wanting to try this for awhile and today I pulled the trigger on it and I am sooooo glad I did. What a beautiful 2nd wine from Château Montrose which hear taken me back to the 1st Bordeaux I ever tasted and set me on my wine journey.
The nose has notes of black cherry, strawberry, plum, black currant, herbal notes, beautiful purple florals, tar, sweet licorice, oak and graphite.
On the palate is dense dark fruit, black cherry, raspberry, blueberry, green bell pepper, black currants and good minerality.
This wine is medium.to full bodied with medium + acidity leaning more to the + side and medium + grippy tannins that coat the whole mouth and leads you right into a long strong enjoyable finish. I'm starting my Memorial Day weekend off right and want you all to have a wonderful holiday weekend. PLEASE be SAFE! Nostrovia! 🍷🍷🍷🍷 — 6 years ago
