A 6 region blend, deep Ruby with aromas of dark red fruits, spice and dried herbal and floral notes. On the palate flavors of blueberry and blackberry with licorice and pepper oak. Fine grainy tannins, lively acidity, medium(+) finish ending with fruit, subtle oak and savory spice. Nice! — 5 years ago
Very good Malbec, these guys make great wines. Deep violet in the glass with a nose of dark fruit, spice, vanilla, woodsmoke and liquorice. The palate is full of bitter chocolate covered cherries, blackberries and earl grey tea with some winter spice. Long finish, with some sweetness and a good balance of tannins and acidity. This is a big wine but it’s smooth and one of the best Malbec’s I’ve tasted. — 6 years ago

Wife likes it a lot. That's all that matters. — 9 years ago
From vines planted in 1921. Deep ruby colored, the nose reveals pronouned aromas of fresh blueberries, blackberries, black plums, ink, graphite, mint as well as vanilla, cedar wood and dark chocolate. The full bodied palate is packed with ripe and smooth tannins, high fruit concentration and refreshing acidity. Quite bold and muscular, leaving a long aftertaste. Drink now until 2036. — 4 years ago
So smooth. A subtle juice flavor with floral notes, currants and black pepper — 4 years ago
Moderate fruit, medium acidity and slate notes. Somewhat deep with a medium finish. Better to go directly for the vinyes velles. — 5 years ago
We recently pulled some cases out of storage, which haven't seen the light of day for nearly 15 years, so I'll have some fun posts in the next several months.
Nose has split oak firewood (barely seasoned), cigar box, moist cedar shavings, blackberry, dried black currant, dried roses, fresh violets, moist leather, dried lavender dark chocolate powder and graphite pencil shavings.
Palate has chocolate covered blackberry, tarry black cherry, cedar sawdust, dark chocolate bark, prune, anise candy, clay pot and leather. Very long finish, subtle tannins exist still, amazing wine!
Cork pulled, 2h rest, then decanted 6h, a perfect bottle, still young, future bottles may be 2023-30, without concern.

Perfect pair to homemade burgers from a local farmer in Columbia Co. NY (Kinderhook Farm), cooked to a beautiful medium-rare served on toasted brioche burger rolls. — 6 years ago

Delicious, all brioche and delight. Perhaps a touch sweet for my taste, but then I like ‘em beyond bone dry. Will be getting more and stashing it away. — 9 years ago
Didn't know that tequila could be this good! Sad. — 9 years ago
I am loving the colors..beautiful ruby red fades into some bricking leading to a clear rim.
Excited to find a 10 year Pinot at my local grocery wine dept! 🤙 Cork was bit of a challenge, surprisingly no sediment.
Nothing to jump up & down about but I am enjoying where this wine is ...in it's evolution. Favors a chill, presents w/ baking spices (cardamom) vanilla and raspberry preserve. — 4 years ago
Sabred this lovely bottle! Love the Blanc de Blanca from #GloriaFerrer . Crisp and refreshing but still textured with tight bubbles. Citrus is balanced with brioche notes.

July 15, 2019. TTW Wine of the month for June 2019. I rarely drink a Malbec (unless I’m in Argentina!) as I normally don’t care for them, but this was an exception. Full bodies and complex, there is a lot going on here. Ripe black fruit (prune, deep plum) with some mocha and spice. Very interesting wine. — 7 years ago
Excellent! — 8 years ago
Bright black fruit aromas, very accessible and soft. Good balance of fruit and acidity, medium tannins and lively finish with blackberry, mocha and earthy notes. Great wine for easy drinking with friends — 9 years ago
"Odedi"
This is a very tasty sparkling wine from California.
Yellow in color with a golden tint.
On the nose lemons, green and yellow apples, spices, light herbs, minerals, earth, yeast, light grapefruits and white pepper.
Medium plus in body and lightly creamy, with high acidity and small bubbles.
Dry on the palate with limes, lemons, grapefruits, green and red apples, yeast, spices, sea salt, minerals and light earth.
Medium on the finish with tangy lemons and sea salt.
This is a really nice surprise. Tangy and enjoyable by itself. Easy drinking and nicely balanced. Feels more like a Crémant from Burgundy.
Showing nice complexity on the nose and the palate, which surprised me. A great value for this price point.
I had it by all by itself on the beach. Can't beat that.
