It’s nice pleasant wine with floral, bitter almond and citrus aromas. Dry, balanced acidity, alcohol and body. Quiet short length. — 6 years ago

Jorge Ordonez founded Bodegas Breca in 2005, in the town of Mundobriga, which was the ancient Celt-Iberian city that gave birth to the modern village of Munebrega in Aragon. The vines planted between 1926 and 1945. Very deep red with a complex bouquet of fruit and sweet spice. Sits on oak for almost 2 years! Tastes of black raspberry, cherry and dried fruit, with sweet herbs and earthy mineral. Balanced, developed tannins and lingering nicely. Real value, a must try. — 7 years ago
Frankincense and myrrh, I feel like I am in a manger scene hanging out with some kings. Toast, roasted wood and oaky aromas open up to spice seasoning with a lashing of salt and acidity. Made in a solera style from multiple vintages this is a unique wine in every way. A heady Viura Rioja blanco experience, I highly recommend it. #newschoolrioja — 8 years ago

Big and bold, the nose is cigar box and leather. On the palate dark fruit, tobacco, cocoa, leather and oak. Chewy tannic finish with fine acid. — 6 years ago
Great texture and richness but the acidity makes it weightless...Delicous.. — 7 years ago

Smells like you want to eat it. Full of berries but very masculine on the palate, west coast wine merchants — 10 years ago
Another hit from Jorge Ordoñez, mild spice from the old vines and a touch of earthyness , subtle cherries and light cocoa...
A really good wine at 15.99 , Ordoñez is just like Dave Phinney, the just don’t associate with bad wineries. — 6 years ago
Big surprise for the $ — 6 years ago
Owned in collaboration with Chris Ringland, Jorge Ordonez, Miguel Gil and others, located in the Valley of La Aragona inside the Murcia district of Jumilla. Dark Ruby, purple edges, with aromas of black/blue fruits and spice. Cabernet/Monastrell blends shows blackberry and blueberry flavors, complex spice, tobacco and cacao with an earthy feel. The finish shows some leather notes, well structured, smooth tannins and should improve over next few years, too young to fully enjoy now. — 7 years ago
Everything I look for in an affordable Italian. Cranberry, red cherry, orange zest with subtle notes of rhyme and almonds. PERFECT with a little homemade spaghetti. — 8 years ago
Mild vegetal up front. Vibrant acidity on the mid palate with a pleasant spicy flavor. 14.99 — 9 years ago
