13 year old Red Mtn. Cab... Could have aged for at least a few more years. Proves WA Cab is worth aging a decade or more, if it is good. Silky tannins, bright red fruit and definitely on the smooth, less "chewy side". — 12 years ago
Crisp white stoned fruit with a dry, bitting finish. — 12 years ago
Aging well. This medium bodied wine is still full of tannin and flavor. It will probably continue to age well for another 5-6 years. Bright red fruit (red plum, strawberry and cranberry) are backed up by a heady/boozy finish and some nice spicy notes (dried red pepper and maybe nutmeg/baking spice). Yum! — 7 years ago
Red mtn. all the way (i.e. huge fruit and a hint of banana), with softer tannins (thanks to aging perhaps) and a sweet lingering finish. Yum! — 8 years ago
This Carnenere is incredible. Only 75 cases case were made, so this may be a tough wine to find. — 9 years ago
2007. Butterscotch and toasted coconut. — 9 years ago
2001 Case Basse Di Gianfranco Soldera Riserva Brunello. Drank this at Toscana w JM and others. First red of the night and this was epic. We thought it would be too young- decanted an hour or so. It was perfect. So smooth, rich, no hard edges, velvety, and long finish. This was my fave bottle of this wine we've ever had. KLD agreed it was showing perfectly. — 9 years ago
Had it at Le Yaca in Williamsburg with Susana, JM and las Vivianas. It was fine for the price at a restaurant. — 10 years ago

Wow! I honestly didn’t expect this to be so good (2010 being such a cool year), but it is fantastic! Big red stone fruit and pepper on the nose, hints of bacon fat, cigar box, and white pepper on initial palette. Medium bodied, medium tannins. Excellent finish. Yum! — 7 years ago
Pretty amazing. Dry up front with a flowery finish that is subtlety sweet. — 7 years ago
The 2007 is drinking amazingly well. I'm glad I have another bottle to sit on a little longer. — 9 years ago

It lives up to it’s name. Though 2010 wasn’t the best year, probably the worst of this decade actually, this wine is still very drinkable and has stood this short test of time very well. Profile is dominated by the cab (37%) at this stage as the Merlot (40%) has faded a little. The Malbec and Petit Verdot making up the rest are subtle/hiding. Dark brambly berries/black cherry, faint cola notes, tobacco and wet stone/pencil shavings are the prominent flavors and aromas. It is probably good for at least a few more years. :) — 6 years ago
