Real hit for $23. Beautifully balanced, rich texture but savory flavours. Good long finish. Really classy. Tasted blind, thought it was pretty good white burg. — 9 years ago

This wine is made by the great Michel Roland and is a blend of 81% merlot 19% Cabernet Sauvignon from weinbau vineyard candy mountain Dionysus and Conner lee vineyard all are warm sites and the Cabernet is from tapteil on red mountain. A very big and seductive bouquet of dark plum and crem de cassis like fruit very rich and ripe with toasty oak spice dried flowers and dark coco very complex and long on the finish. Big and chewy very rich and layered with silky smooth velvety texture with layers of dark chocolate and a very long finish. Finish 50+ wonderful balance and length with a firm hand of acidity — 11 years ago

2006 Aubert Lauren Vineyards Chardonnay. Second white wine of the night at David Gray/Amos Lee concert. So different from the Domaine Laflaive, which had more minerality, while this had more buttery oak. Great wine and we really enjoyed it. — 10 years ago
Has a sense of the franc in the sinuses that I look for in a Cab Franc, distinctive like Bordeaux. Get again. — 10 years ago

Great, very limited release, Napa valley Sangiovese. Needs plenty of time to open up, and it's worth the wait. Dark Ruby color, light to medium bodied, with nice red fruit and firm, yet silk and well integrated tannins, on the finish. — 9 years ago
Wow, surprisingly fun wine — 9 years ago

Went with the Pacific NW for the big game. Aromas and notes of black fruits, pepper, and meat. Appropriately big, powerful, but agile. Terrific. — 10 years ago
