Absolutely satin with honey, almond, cinnamon, mace and apricot. — 12 years ago
Serious potential, if not as balanced or pretty as the 2014. Certainly more dense, inky and tannic than its predecessor. Showing vibrant sour cherry, raspberry, fresh cut purple flowers, spice cake, Asian spice and licorice. Tremendous mineral tension. Feels a bit extracted now but sure to be a winner. — 7 years ago

Lemon and some malolactic notes. Low Abv but yet concentrated flavour intensity of lemon, bruised apple, mineral and a long finish — 7 years ago
Beautiful and rich, with aromas of orange peel, stoniness, chamomile, following through with persimmon and honeydew- balanced by scintillating acid and resin — 8 years ago
Drinks well young for Premier Cru Puligny Montrachet, has aging potential but doesn't need to sit for 5 years before becoming drinkable — 10 years ago
Otroligt pigg och frisk! Citrus, äpplen och mineralitet dominerar. En gnutta ursprungstypiskt oxiderad. Smarr — 10 years ago

Pascal Clement, Chassagne Montrachet 1er Cru Clos Saint Jean — 9 years ago
Stewed fruits and fig with a pleasant hint of bakings spices on the medium/long finish. It is well balanced with smooth medium tannins which don't dominate the pallate, which make this a wine that doesn't necessarily need a food pairing. Finally it's worth noting that this wine noticeablely improved after decanting (and was even better day two)! [9/6/2016] — 10 years ago

Haven’t had a villages in a long long time but this is a wonderful way to revisit: dark, dark black fruit flavor profile with a mid palate that bites back. Sure, the finish is short but for 10&, it’s a bit feral & a no brainer. Rosenthal book. — 7 years ago
