Bright cherry fruit, violets, underbrush, med tannins and nice acid. — 7 years ago
Very drinkable now. This wine should please the American taste as a fruit forward and pleasant but excellent for the price. A great affordable wine to order while dinning out. — 8 years ago
What an amazing wine. Super nose that jumps out at ya. Big cherry. Big big fucking cherry. Spices, plum, semi sweet cocoa, such aromas. Totally spellbinding. Also a sense of gamey, meaty and smokey aromas add complexity. Awesome. Palate is vibrant, deep and so juicy, with amazing fruit and terrific acid and structure. What concentration! This has tannins that are soft but ever present, but so velvety. So pure and dazzlingly fresh. Really long finish that takes over the palate. The purity of this is incredible. What a mouthfeel as well. 100% Gamay in Amphorae. — 8 years ago

Sweet dusty tannins. Slight residual bitterness which dissipated day 2. Dark and red berries. Nose more tamed than I would like. — 10 years ago
It's a soft wine who prefers light body and don't want to fall asleep. Bought this for friends who like but always feels the Reds are just too strong. — 11 years ago
