From Graham. Very good and complex. Good with steak. 2011. — 8 years ago
Big inky and brooding. New world save for the sanguine quality, chewy dark berry and mineral. Nowhere near its peak! — 9 years ago
Robust Grenache blend. Deep, dark and inky wine. Notes of stewed prunes, black cherries with notes of damp wood. Well balanced fruit, relaxed tannins, nice spice, medium complexity with a nice finish. Firm acidity; will pair well with roasted meats and a variety of cheeses. — 10 years ago
A dry yet juicy wine from the Bordeaux area with cherry notes. Excellent with a beef tenderloin! — 6 years ago
Delightful Rhône red blend. Medium body with soft tannins and exuberant fruit that flows over the palate. K&L has this beauty @ $12. versatile and able to age 5+ years. — 6 years ago

Geez, this is tremendous. 2007 w/ massive sweet, smooth,Rhône style fruit. - lots of cassis & blueberry. Likely the Mourvèdre & Petit Syrah together...So syrupy - really rich & tasty. Nice little 13yr old! — 6 years ago
A very good wine with subtle flavours and a nice after taste. — 6 years ago
Light and refreshing with hints of vanilla — 7 years ago
This is drinking extremely well after just a pop and pour. You can see on the side of the bottle that it’s thrown a ton of sediment. Still easily in the drinking window. Underrated winery. — 8 years ago

At home on a Friday with some chocolate ice cream and the dogs. Waiting for Mike to come home popped it open and it's super tasty you think it's going to be dry but it doesn't have that burn. — 10 years ago

Great. My last btl of 2002 JC Cellars... I held so many of their early 2000s & I’m amazed how they hold their fruit. The Philary vineyard has always been towards the top. Like all JC’s - tons of sediment - many opportunities to stain my otherwise, pearly white teeth. :) — 5 years ago
