From 100% estate-grown fruit,
Brooks Rastaban Pinot Noir 2011 is a wine of fantastic contrasts and angles. The nose comes across as dark and brooding, laden with black cherries and blackberries, minerals and dried rose petals. On the palate, however, it presents a lighter body than expected with bright acidity, firm tannins and tart red fruits: pomegranate, rhubarb, and rose hips. As with the Janus Pinot, the finish is pleasantly tinged with exotic spices notes. 12.3% ABV | Sample — 10 years ago

Awesome can franc! If you like the veggie peppery expression then this is for you. Higher than usual acidity makes it slightly lighter and oak adds notes of the forest after rain — 9 years ago
