Hitting the spot after a long day of kid's sports. Pre-jacuzzi wine. Zin does not have to suck and this proves it. Tart, blackberry notes smoothing in to what I would say is an almost Grenache vibe. Smooth and not at all over the top. "Restrained" at almost 15%. — 11 years ago

From the website "Dominated by Zinfandel the remaining 40% of the wine is Carignane, Petite Sirah, Alicante Bouschet, Grand Noir de la Calmette, Syrah, Tempranillo, Trousseau, Mission, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and many others." BR does a Grenache Gris from Mendocino grapes, but not aware of Grenache from the home vineyard. Love the Bedrock field blends!
