Deep purple red in color. Cherry, berry, black pepper, green vegetable and herb notes in nose. Cherry, black currant and black pepper in mouth. Fruit forward, with lots of fine grain seed tannins, driving the bitterness and black pepper on finish. 88% cab franc shines through here — 9 years ago

Seattle's best. Smooth and nice. — 13 years ago
Deep purple in color. Floral, spearmint, black currant, and cherry notes in nose. Spice, cherry, berry and cough syrup notes in mouth. Mild bitterness with mint, some alcoholic astringency on finish. Slight mint, black currant and milky flavors in aftertaste. Winery typically runs out of Mourvèdre, well made and popular. A nice example that shows well, with good complexity. Still ageworthy but drinking well now. — 9 years ago
Isenhower Cellars Sparkling Rosanne 2012 A great alternative to champagne. — 11 years ago
Ripe black fruit and slight phenolic (antiseptic) aromas. The phenolic burns off after a few minutes. Blackberry and cedar with a smooth, rich finish. — 11 years ago
First to rate this wine here, ever - cool! Pale yellow-white in color. Floral, herbal and citrus notes in nose. Floral citrus melon and stone fruit notes in mouth, subdued intensity of flavors but elegant and well integrated. Rounded mouthfeel, good acidity (though short of crispness) and minerality on finish. A winner, give this wine and winery some love, people. — 9 years ago
Very smooth, fairly dry with a hint of sweetness and minerality without heavy acidity. — 10 years ago
This is the Isenhower 2006 Elerding Vineyard Petit Verdot bottling. Deep and dark, opaque and starting to show some brick tones on the edges. Nose is nice with floral, cedar, nutmeg, and sweet caramel candy. Palate is thick, sweet, and showing black fruits, mocha, leather, and espresso. Nice wine. — 11 years ago
