It's austere, but that's why you bought a taurasi. Dried flowers, boysenberries, raspberries. Almost like an amarone. Well made; I think average score a tad low. Better than the 2016. — a year ago
No butter on the 2018 @Andrew Mecoli , and pretty easy to order online still. — 4 years ago
Easy drinking red, perfect for CKOne’s 50th at Bonn Bad Godesberg. — 6 years ago
— 7 years ago

The best white wine I've ever personally purchased from the store. This time, on a trip to Bolzano. — 2 years ago
There are so many good wines outside of Italy’s main regions (Piemonte, Veneto, Toscana, etc.) as well as grapes... and they are hardly known in North America. Aglianico is a unknown beast.
Earthy. Hints of liquorice. So much going on here.
For a youthful wine, it drinks well.

White peaches & honey melon - the typical Rich bodied Greco with nice acidity and a whiff of white pepper on the finish. Not bad for uncomplicated holiday sipping. — 6 years ago
