Dark ruby purple. Black currant cobbler on the inviting nose. Echoed on the medium full palate which adds red plum and light hints of French vanilla oak. Really good structure. Firm but approachable tannins and medium acidity. Moderate finish. A wonderfully old school Cabernet from a premium producer at a great price ($20!) cents ne enough "stuff" to lay down for a short while. Drink now through 2030 with a roast or NY strip. — a year ago

An amazing and affordable introduction to the Merus range that proves quality doesn’t have to cost big bucks.
