Among the best Pinotages I’ve had. You can taste coffee essence and wine was grown on ex coffee plantation. Exquisite and well balanced yet appropriately peppery — 8 years ago

Great wine for a great meal at the Plantation in Poole. Available through Berry Bros. & Rudd — 8 years ago
Unusually lime forward with a chive note. There is lemon zest, agave, and caramel drizzle exhibiting sweet motor oil nasally. Banana liqueur expands hotly, with soft vanilla and caramel cream notes daubing a fleeting sweetness along cocoanut, mint, candied pineapple, dried dates, carob and beeswax candle. Subtle initially, then expansive, with longevity. #plantationrum #rum #grenada #islandrum #sundayrumday #Westerhall — 9 years ago

Ingleside Winery — 10 years ago
Smooth, nutmeg, allspice, cinnamon - very drinkable — 7 years ago
If Ingleside was to be described by three wines, one would be their Albariño. Almost cider like with crisp juicy apple from nose to palate with mandarin orange, lemon blossom, and juicy pear colliding in the smoothest of ways. Juicy acidity and mouth watering texture this Virginia white wine adds to the Virginia repertoire for unique wines — 7 years ago
Douce promenade dans une plantation de poivre — 9 years ago
Excellent. Rich with vanilla and spice — 9 years ago
very nice dessert wine — 9 years ago
Long and complex, with lots of tropical fruit notes along with the oak, a bit sweeter than I would like. — 10 years ago
Bright sunshine. Lisa wants to drink this on the porch of our plantation overlooking the Spanish moss covered elms. Lemon, orange peel, stones. Living and vibrant. Great acid/fruit balance. Med+ length. ~chalky texture. Delicious now but good to age. — 10 years ago
Matt

One of of my favorite vineyards in CA and a gem in Turley’s portfolio. Spanning 1890s to 1900s plantation of some very unique varietals, this always has a signature to it that I don’t always find in field blends. Rich in body while always maintaining beautiful texture and liveliness. Aromatics are always unique and compelling in their own right. I used to think this would be best at 10-15 year mark but the more I try it I think this site drinks its best at the 3-5 year mark from vintage. — 6 years ago
