Who says 06 ca Pinot doesn't have staying power? Big, fruitful and long. Rhubarb, raspberry and Indian spice. Strawberry and earth finish that goes on and on. This is a serious wine that still has 4-5 years. — 10 years ago
Indian food's best friend, if you haven't got any cold beer — 11 years ago
Really nice wine. Let it breathe a while or use an aerator. We had it with South Indian food and it went very well! — 12 years ago

Indian spice, red fruit, balanced. Winner all around. — 10 years ago
Superb multilayered nose of minerals, indian spices, apricots and smokey earth, long and ample finish with a powerful middle, coats the teeth with rocks, despite all its sweetness, unbelieveable acidity for a PG. Awesome. 2010 vintage — 10 years ago
One of the few Merlots I can drink at any time and don't have to be in the mood for. Fragrant, smooth, almost silky. — 11 years ago

Wow, memories are flowing in while drinking this Octoberfest. Indian Summer, Midwest, football season, Bratwursts, yellow leafs on the ground. Hail to the victors GO BLUE. — 10 years ago
Out of magnum. Extremely balanced red fruit with acid and tannin to let this one age quite awhile. Can't want to taste this again in 10 years. Wells and Mike have done a helluva job on this one. Complex but very approachable. — 10 years ago
This is a gold from the north coast competition great balance and not a mellow merlot. A food must have. — 11 years ago

Such a treat. Nose: pronounced green apple, honey, petrol with a hint of Indian spice. Medium body in spite of 9.5 percent alc. luxurious mouthfeel with slight sweetness balanced by the acidity. Pure and gorgeous start to finish. — 9 years ago
