Holding up nicely for a 6 year old chard. — 9 years ago
Darkest red color and a sweet, mature bouquet (2006 drank in 2015). Complex mouthfeel would be wonderful with lamb and heavy meaty dishes. Plummy and dark berry notes. — 9 years ago
Sweet and a lil sparkly — 10 years ago
Would make a delicious sangria, add some fruit and be done — 6 years ago
Lovely Merlot. Very strong dark fruit on the nose. The balance is good. Body provides a nice mouth feel. Lots of mocha flavors on this one. Lingering tannin finish is nice. — 7 years ago
Different Chardonnay, lime and citrus notes — 7 years ago
Zingy, something almost...Chardonnay-ish about it. Not in a bad way. I don't love it like I did the 2015 but I'd drink it again. It got those asparagus notes crossed with pear and apple. I like it. I miss 2015 but hey that's wine--every year is it's own thing — 7 years ago
Outstanding. Gossamer pale peach with honeyed highlights, expressing pure alpine air, catmint, dried honeycomb, white peach, cherubs tears, and meadow flowers. On the palate, it’s elegant and beautifully balanced, each note perfection, not unlike Vivaldi’s Le Quattro Stagioni, here is lilting, refined, pitch-perfect acidity set against a backdrop of dewy raspberries that extends to sweet saline-edged oblivion. — 8 years ago
Apparently Linden, VA is the place to grow Chardonnay: it starts like it is going to hit with too much oak...but then it has wild and lingering acidity/ delightful — 9 years ago
This blend is really nice. I loved it. — 6 years ago
A delightful Pinot. On the nose graphite, smoke, licorice, and tart cherries. On the palate bright cherries, leather, dark berry medley, anise, sweet pipe tobacco, with hints of game. While not generally my style this is a PN I actually wouldn’t mind having on hand due to it being a quality, approachable expression. — 6 years ago
Sourced from Wild Meadow in Round Hill, this classic North Gate chard has aged nicely and still has some rounding out to do. This really pushes all the taste buttons (tropical fruits, floral, oakiness, & vanilla)...and begs for playful food to harness its tannins! — 7 years ago
Solid wine thru and thru. Better with an 2 hours decanting — 8 years ago
Exclwnt. I think this good be the very best varietal in their vineyard. Would buy a case in the blink of the eye. — 8 years ago
Light and silky. A good value for the taste. — 9 years ago
Best red ever! — 9 years ago
Just as I remembered...lots of black cherry. — 11 years ago
