This 2011 Chambourcin was aged in French oak. The wine tasted watery up front with a wonderful aftertaste. Winemaker's tasting notes: "This French-American hybrid grape is definitely a show stopper. Produced in the traditional French style, the Chambourcin is medium in body with earthy and spicy complexities. Wonderfully fruit forward with Rich notes of right cherries and plum with just hint of spice on the finish. — 11 years ago

Oh ! Je n'en ai goûté que quelques centilitres dans un gobelet en plastique en plus mais ce vin est extraordinaire ! On me l'a présenté comme un siangiovese bianco et c'est assez rare m'a t-on dit ! C'est de la confiture de coing que l'on tartine sur du pain croustillant ; c'est un champ de fleurs blanches que l'on hume ; c'est ; c'est formidable ! — 10 years ago

Apparemment non ! J'ai cherché sur le net et tous les marchands de pif affichent "sold out " ! Je dois préciser que je l'ai goûté à Mitsukoshi mais il n'est pas vendu à Mitsukoshi ! Une sommelière a apporté un reste de flacon qu'elle avait dégusté dans un salon ; je pense et elle a eu la gentillesse d'en apporter au boulot !
