Homestead Red Blend — 5 years ago
This is an absolutely wonderful wine at a fantastic price brought to you by the good Folks at Whole Foods. It has become our house wine here at the homestead. Nothing quite like it after a day of mountain biking and hiking. — 8 years ago

Balanced red blend with notes of raspberry and cherries and some residual sugars on the finish. 5 years in the bottle makes this a wine of note. Goes well with corned beef on St Pats. Thanks for the recommendation Jennifer! — 4 years ago
Would buy and love, any day. Truly, love. From homestead steakhouse dinner. — 6 years ago
Alexander Valley Vineyards is owned and operated by the Harry Wetzel family. Founded in 1975, it is located on Cyrus Alexander's old homestead. A blend of 58% Cabernet Sauvignon, 22% Cabernet Franc, 10% Merlot, 6% Malbec and 4% Petit Verdot with aromas of berry fruits and toasty spice aromas. On the palate cherry and blackberry flavors with vanilla, oak and cacao. Structured tannins, well balanced on lingering finish ending with sweet spicy tones. — 7 years ago
What you'd expect from an Aaron Burr pear cider - a kind of funky, yet refined earthiness with a bit of pear sourness. Oh and quite good of course. 30 cases produced, if you're counting. — 7 years ago
Hits a particular home-y note for me. Excellent fruit and structure. — 8 years ago
Old Homestead @ Caesars, LV. Mellow spiciness with plum, tangerine and light oak. Refreshing, light dirtiness. — 9 years ago

Imagine Magners, but good and dry and not so damn sweet — 5 years ago
Strong tannin, robust flavor. Cherry, oak, baking spice right off the bat, cinnamon and vanilla. Let it breath for a bit and you get plum and raspberry. Mild to medium acidity. Had this at the Old Homestead with prime porterhouse for two. Amazing with the steak. Also steak was fantastic — 7 years ago
