Slightly jammy, full of blueberry and blackberry flavors, and delicious as a a food wine. — 11 years ago
Fruity, crisp, nice finish. One of the better Sauvignon Blancs I've had. In fact, all the Rodney Strong wines we've tried have been excellent. — 13 years ago
Lovely dessert wine. Need to get some of these to keep at home... — 10 years ago
Yea it's good. Def acidity / tartness. Lots of structure. Red and blue fruit. — 12 years ago
Surpisingly creamy and wet. Hints of cherry and appricot. Not your typical cab. — 13 years ago
Big and rich Chardonnay still oak notes after 11 years. Hazelnut and caramel corn. Still has minerality present few years of life left (like my cat except more teeth). Granted I could come home any day now to find wine or cat dead but the future looks bright for both. — 11 years ago

It's really nice when a wine starts out as 'ordinary' and then grows into something complex and full of memory as it sits. Over an hour, this has turned from only fresh strawberry w/ an alcohol nose burn to cedar, raspberry, black cherry, tar, dr pepper, cocoa, and rose petal. Crumbly tannin, med+ acid, and a moderate finish. If I'm being objective, it's a touch hot, the oak is apparent, and the fruit is just a bit overripe, but tonight - at home w/ osso buco, my wife, my daughter, and memories of my father - it's perfect. — 10 years ago
