Strawberries on the nose. Wet rocks and metals on the mouth. Low body. Medium acid. Low alcohol. Woods. Grassy later in the mouth — 11 years ago

#westsicilywine. Catarratto aged in chestnut woods. Awesome. €11 — 13 years ago
Lingonberries, strawberries, leather and wooden tones. Impressive clarity of flavour. Like an autumn day in the woods bottled for my enjoyment. — 11 years ago
Crazy. Lime and tequila on one side, reduced bourbon and rich red ale on the other. Like that cat with peanut-butter bread on its back. Shit be cray. We both loved it. — 11 years ago
Deep amber color. Aromas of birch bark, vanilla, old linens, and mahogany. It smells like autumn leaves in the deep woods after rain, and it tastes like wood, too—birch and pecan, walnut, sarsaparilla. There's roundness at the front and sharpness at the back, and the finish is bitter nut. Pour straight over ice or add tonic and a splash of white port. 16% abv | $28 (New Hampshire) — 13 years ago
Little bright on its own but when you wash down some West coast hogs with this East coast Savvy you get a match made in heaven (if it exists...I highly doubt it). — 11 years ago
Classic Margaret River at a great price. Tropical and light herbaceous flavours. Elegant in its early life, well balanced and terrific drinking. Bottled not long ago so it's super fresh. — 11 years ago
Vineyards almost 30 years old, based in Valgatara and Negrar. Corvina 100%, late harvest (dried lightly on the vines), 4 years aging in big barrels (Slavonia woods), autochthonous yeasts. — 13 years ago
