Drank it while I smoked a cigar (Gran Habano Blue in Green) on a patio in the Old Town, Panama City and it was delicious — 7 years ago

Raisins and leather on the nose. Slightly sweet. Taste begins sweet and caramel; very full. Slightly alcohol forward. Dries out late with hints of oak and smoke. As someone else said, it's like the offspring of bourbon and rum. — 7 years ago
A little gem. Made by Rolando Herrera. Smooth fruit. Balanced finish. — 8 years ago

Spanish dinner with the "Goldman" girls and their hubbys... at the beach resort in Buenaventura outside Panama City — 9 years ago
Mesmerizing nose of rich, slightly ripe red and black fruits that are unmistakably Napa, licorice, prune, smoked meat, black tea, dark chocolate, dried mushroom, cigar box, all tightly knit together. The palate was equally impressive with warm soft texture and complex layer. The full body is self-assured with power and grace. Velvety tannins still has baby teeth. And the lightly spiced and sweet finish lasts for minutes.
A complete wine at 15 years, but will reach perfection in another 5-10 years. — 6 years ago
Brought this with us to Panama. Enjoyed between various locally available South American wines. Not a fair comparison. — 7 years ago
