Burnt toast and pea soup on the nose herald a honeyed peach and sweet citrus flavor profile, with a bit of yeasty multivitamin flavor lurking to give complexity and character. Nice. — 10 years ago
The main reason we come out to Napa is for the Flora Springs Trilogy Release Party. Such an absolute blast and amazing time. This was my third year attending and this was their first time opening older vintages. Got to try the '14, '94 and '95 vintages all back to back. For what it's worth, the '14 is just a hair below the herald '13. I'd put it above the '12. Not quite the fruit bomb on the tongue, but more mellowed. '13 will age better but the '14 is better now. Lots of plum and baking spices on the nose and palate. '95 was superior to the '94 and it wasn't close...seemed as though the '94 was closing up. If you have it, drink now. If you have the '95, you're good for a few years. Enjoyed sharing Trilogy wines with @Greg Ballington ! My first person from Delectable to meet in person! — 8 years ago
Lovely Super Tuscan - not too bold, gentle on the palate, lovely blend to herald in summer! — 9 years ago

John T
Mark Herald. Remember that name. Master wine make for many boutique wineries. This is his label. Great deep bodied red. Went well with the fillet mignonette we had. — 8 years ago
