2006 For the vintage still very fresh. Citrus w/ pear. Enjoying with salmon en croutes. Of course, my som., via Wilson Daniels, has once again brought magic from her cellar. If you can get it. Drink it — 10 years ago

So my black face surprised David L tonight. Couldn't let him come to NY without pressing the flesh. Anyway, we took a picture with the Arietta owner Fritz Hatton. A brilliant evening (organized by Daniel Posner: Grapes) on many levels - At Restaurant North, NY. — 8 years ago

09' Lail J Daniels Cuvée. Full-bodied. Decanted this for one hour +. Should've been decanted longer! I get a little blueberry, primarily dominated by black fruits. Moderate plus acidity. A good long finish. I think this wine is still a little tight(front palate). It will taste even better with a longer decanting/time. I'm think at least 10 years in it. Edit- Mint chocolate. — 9 years ago

This is an inarguably great wine. And all the more impressive to me that it is stylistically not my typical leanings. Serious power, depth, balance - still so young - and I'll be damned if this wine isn't mindblowing in 10 years. Bravo @Fritz Hatton — 10 years ago
A rare gift from a Kiwi. What a blinder, not super strong but just right. Ate with lamb — 10 years ago
A treat whenever you can taste 40-y-o Cognac. That said, I like the 20-y-o. New to NYC thorough Wilson Daniels. Very well priced for what it is. — 10 years ago
Bryant Bickel
The not only best label but best wine in the lineup, he should adapt this pattern in different colors for all labels and similar with the winemaking the volume is high on this on, brilliant. Textbook — 8 years ago
