Drinking this wine reminds me of touching a collection of Packards, gazing at antiquated film-capturing equipment and eating cheese and charcuterie with baguettes at Inglenook. Wine will always allow you to harken back to certain memories and moods...and with this one it's always a pleasant memory...of which I hope to make many more of — 6 years ago

I’m a sucker for these older SLWC SLVs...they hold up so well and harken back to a different style of Napa wines. Sipped on and let breathe over an hour and a half. Every sip was better than the last, no sign of it fading. 98 was panned but rewarded those who were patient. Drink ‘em if you have ‘em! — 5 years ago
