Great balance bt body and slight sweetness that is sure to suit the majority of guests at an outdoor event.Nice white blend @ $10-13 that I’ll be enjoying by the pool more often! — 6 years ago
Full bodied and fruity sweet. — 7 years ago
Hard to express how good this was. Somehow this bottle managed to retain all of what was likely great about it on release (acid balance, snappy minerality) and just ADD complexity and length. Stunning. Very long finish which tempered mushrooms and choose your own umami with a painful tidal pool and steely finish. The Eddy w/ C&C — 7 years ago
Right on the money with this Riesling! Straw in color and star bright. Nose was filled with lemon-lime, honeydew, Granny Smith apples, wild honey, citrus blossom, ginger, and new plastic pool toy aromas. The palate was extremely well balanced and the acidity was high and puckering. The tart lemon and lime flavors held through the finish. The finish was surprisingly long, and it was a nice medium-minus body. This Riesling provides a solid compliment to spicy sushi and spicy foods. It holds up strong and has a lot of backbone. All in all, this is your Riesling if you are looking for a refreshing, acidic, dry breath of fresh air. Instant favorite of mine! Washington dry Rieslings are spectacular. Cheers! — 8 years ago
When this wine is on, it's really on. — 8 years ago
Reminiscent of Beaujolais' Gamay, this southern part of Tuscany's Ampeleia is producing some fine red wine! Mine tonight, after 30 minutes swim and spin in the decanter's pool of naked open space and air shows first to the nose wet rocks, slate and sandstone freshly accenting menthol and anise then strictly earthen dirt and minerals and a hint of the berries. First kiss is lightly but intriguingly nasty, wet and dripping red fruit which immediately coats and clings but most interestingly reaches back for the wet rocks overlooking the Med, then re-engages just in time to leave hints of her red and blue berry essence complimenting the blackened octopus in a mash of white beans and spices laced with a hint of Tabasco offered up by Chapel Hill's Il Palio located off Franklin Street (checkout both) Ciao🕶 — 8 years ago
20 percent chard, this wine is bigger than a New Zealand Sav Blanc. No oak, grapefruit, lime, jalapeño oddly enough and bell pepper. — 9 years ago

Yummy. Crispy. Fresh! Just sittin by the pool. Perfect for this. — 6 years ago
This is special. A gorgeous settled nose with real poise and precision. Some rock pool then light secondary notes and honeysuckle, hints of orange blossom and peach. On the palate, concentrated but very settled with a chalky minerality and a loong finish. Gorgeous stuff. — 7 years ago
Excellent wine. Deep taste without being overwhelming. — 7 years ago
Second time around in just as many nights. Allowing nearly 10 hours to open up brings oyr a beautiful sweet raspberry coulis like palate which I'm seriously enjoying. Tannins have settled too. — 8 years ago

Nice by the pool. @Ashlee Linck get some of this! — 9 years ago
It's better than a hot pot of coffee to the eyes! Stunning Aromatics; every tree-fruit I can conjure is found on the nose alone. Serve only slightly cooler than room temperature. -Vintage 2013 — 9 years ago
Started this by the pool at Chateau de Challanges then finished it by the fountain waiting for dinner reservation. Tres bonne — 10 years ago

Had a bottle of this 2 years ago after it scooped the pool at the Royal Brisbane Wine Show. I can’t see why it got the accolades - an excellent Pinot Noir no doubt but not Champion Red of the Show. Colour of mid crimson with dark cherry. Initially on opening some oaky varnishy notes with stalkiness. On palate good intensity where the savouriness presides over the fruit dry cherry flavours. Will cellar. — 6 years ago
