Barbera ist eine großartige Rebsorte, und wenn sie richtig behandelt wird, dann bringt sie ganz tolle Weine hervor. Bei Carlin de Paolo wird auf niedrige Erträge geachtet, und der Wein wird für über ein Jahr in kleinen Holzfässern ausgebaut, um ihm noch Struktur und Reifefähigkeit zu geben. Das Resultat duftet nach reifen Kirschen, Brombeeren und Feigen und ist sehr geschmeidig mit einer feinen Säure. — 11 years ago
