Intense and profound Burgundy-like Pinot Noir nose with beautifully pure red fruits and a subtle hint of spices and a mineral touch. Like a hypothetical blend of high quality Burgundy (Echézeaux) and German Baden Pinot Noir (Martin Wassmer Castellberg comes to mind). Profound, very elegant with silky tannin and long aftertaste. Wow, brand new bottling and a stunning one at that. Santa Cruz Mountains, bald mountain vineyard that is known for minerality and complexity, and this does not disappoint. The nose is rich with a werther's original-like caramel note as well as some peach skin.. lovely aromatics all around.
