Pale in color; slightly waxy, lime rind, white flower. Excellent vibrant acid balance with a layered texture and full body. A delicate almond note on long finish suggests drink up but this was in great shape overall. Dancer has a wonderful touch with CH.

Very good cab. Smooth with dark fruit. — 8 years ago
Beautiful cranberry tea, auburn color. Big beer- alc, depth, rich bitter hops rounded by just the right amount of malt. This probably needs a couple years of aging. Caramlized grapefruit. Very dry in the mouth. Black tea. — 9 years ago

2011 Sol Rouge Gypsy Rouge. This month's Gold Label Wine Club Plus wine is a very earthy blend, punctuated by the Grenache. It has an almost metallic finish. It's smooth throughout and I like that the flavor evolves from start to finish. — 9 years ago
Understand the wine maker raises honey bees. The honey flavor is evident among the other classic Pinot Noir qualities.

Monthly WTF wine group tasting. This month’s theme was chardonnay from any region or vintage. Nice eclectic bunch! All wines tasted blind.
My first thought when I smelled this, and again when I tried it, was “this is so familiar.” I was correct. I had the 2016 vintage courtesy of @Shawn R a year ago for the WNH event in San Antonio. This was so rich and flavorful! Sporting a warm and soft profile, it shows baking spices on the nose with powdered sugar and honey roasted cashews. On the palate it’s full of Creme brûlée, banana pudding and savory truffles toward the finish. Drinks a touch hot. If you enjoy the bigger style, you’ll love this. Thanks Ryan. — 5 years ago
Great but small distribution Pinot. One of the early Santa Rita Hills' Pinots. Great fruit on the nose. 2008 drinking very well. Unique bottle is just an added extra touch. — 8 years ago
Red fruit and roses on the bouquet. Very light and fresh without too much acid. Had with some pho. — 9 years ago

2014. Good color and body. Not usually a fan of Pinot Rose, but this is excellent. LaHaye. — 10 years ago
Needs to air after first opening bottle but then reveals plush dark fruits, nice body and acid, has Burgundian overtones to me but at same time taste like modern Sonoma Pinot. — 10 years ago
