Solid and very well done GV. Very mineral and crisp. — 9 years ago
Super textural. Powerful but oh so elegant in its composition and poise. This is the spicy/vegetal side of GV. Fresh peas, legume, white pepper, MINERALS, yellow plums, blossoms. No botrytis just super clean and focused. A little wound up this really can use a quick decant. — 9 years ago
Holyshit. ...just had this with the seared tuna app that had a lemon vin and there are serious fire works going on in my mouth. I had the food before the wine showed up so curious how the gv would be solo but right now I'm happier than shit that I didn't order the btl of chenin I was eyeing. Slightly oily viscosity that I dig. Not as earth shattering with the sea bass that followed. Still WOW! — 9 years ago
excellent GV — 10 years ago

Crisp, flinty, refreshing GV with mouthwatering acidity. Hints of pear, golden apple, peach, and citrus. Paired well with tilapia with mango salsa and asparagus. I wanted more but I had to share. — 10 years ago
Just when I realize the bottle of wine that I planned my whole meal around is corked, I remember I have this trusty GV with stelvin in the fridge! Pairs well with everything! Searing acidity, stone fruits, and limestone minerality. Yum — 10 years ago
Over performs!! Straight forward GV with lovely sweet green notes laced with tree fruits. Bits of white pepper and salt. Biased because I import this wine. — 11 years ago

Light and simple Austrian GV — 7 years ago
This 2010 GV is the newest addition to the „aged 7 years in large barrels“ line by Nikolaihof. Still very young, many primary fruit aromas underlined by a very subtle oxidative note. Very complex, still shows good aging potential. Needs air. — 8 years ago
Apples, pears & bit of pineapple core with straw & mushrooms & crushed rock. Rich gv! — 10 years ago
2010 R Kellerberg 2000 GV Loibner Berg. Well done FX, well done!! — 10 years ago
Great gv Sancerre. — 10 years ago
This GV worth every dollar of your pocket. It displays a zesty acidity and lot of floral and stony minerality. Some evidence of lees contact brings complexity and good texture. A really expressive delicious example of Gruner Veltiner — 11 years ago
2010 great GV year — 12 years ago
Slow O for 10 hrs. Pretty Cabernet nose and delicate, elegant palate. Nice balance but feels really light. Almost no tannin. Not what I expect in a Kap GV. Vintage specific, I suppose, but the 2011 Roberta’s from last night had much more tannin. Very food friendly wine. — 8 years ago
Great Austrian GV clone....steely minerality, white pepper, basil, green apple, stone fruit — 9 years ago
