Sjukt gott! Härligt, lätt med fina smygande smaker av krusbär, ljus stenfrukt och lätt mineralitet! Detta kan man dricka mycket av. Perfekt som sällskap eller till en snäll fisk. — 7 years ago
Exuberant nose of spice, cherry cough drop, wood shavings, sour cherry. Very aromatic. Round, sappy and juicy with nice balance and freshnes. Clean and mineral finish redolent of spices and red cherries. Nice suave tannins. Showing very well. Terrific balance. — 8 years ago
Crushed limestone, fresh florals and just a touch of lime rind on the nose. Balanced fruit and acidity with lots of fresh/floral flavors. While nuanced at first, this one open up pleasantly. — 8 years ago

Very nice Red Burgundy. More fruit than I expected if a bit less earth. Went exceptionally well with our food selections; Salmon and lamb but good match for both. — 10 years ago

Super gut ! — 10 years ago
40% Syrah, 30% Grenache, 30% Carignan. Bright black fruits on the nose. Dark plums, medium acid and body, lingering tannins and a mouth-coating chalkiness from the minerals. Very food friendly. — 6 years ago

Aloxe Corton continues to be massively underrated. Gorgeously deep and refined aromas of Black cherry, spice and some hints of oak being absorbed. Palate is complex and structured like this cuvee normally is but with so much fruit, complexity and spice. Incredible palate presence and much density and sweetness. This needs and hour but then is a terrific terrific value. Will age for 10-12 years easy. — 7 years ago

Perfect summer patio wine! 🌞👍🏻 — 8 years ago
Green olives and sour cherries. Mild tannins. Young but approachable. — 8 years ago
Awesome sauv blanc from a producer in Burgundy close to the Chablis border. This vineyard site has limestone soils that you can taste in this dry mineral driven wine. Bright acidity and lean body make it a great food wine and something that will be easy to enjoy all summer long. — 9 years ago

Yes, Sauvignon Blanc in Burgundy! In fact, the St Bris appellation was previously called 'Sauvignon de Saint-Bris' (before 2003). And you can ONLY use SB or Sauv Gris fruit, + max 12.8% ABV. Love the terroir and plan to show it blind just to mess with my Sancerre obsessed friends. — 10 years ago

Briljant Bourgogne! Underbara smaker av mörka körsbär, mandel, kanel och rostade fat. — 7 years ago
This is the vintage Xavier really got going. Lovely nose of spice and mineral. Big candies cherries and some sour cherries as well. Palate is soft and elegant with huge fruit. Sappy and spicey with lovely freshness. Good mouthfeel and terrific value. Needs maybe 15 minutes and then raring to go. Terrific sweetness of fruit smothered with spice. — 7 years ago

Excellent French wine! Grenache Mourvèdre blend. — 9 years ago
I was pleasantly surprised by this rose. Quite dry and crisp with a slight fruity note. I typically drink dry white wines from Austria, New Zealand, and France. I picked this up on a whim but think I will go back for a case. Great mineral characters, maybe too acid for some, but great for a summer day for those who like acid Gruner Veltliners. — 10 years ago
Toasty oak nose. This is 2014. Very cherry. Sappy and very pure fruit. Excellent intensity. Very pure. Long. 2014 is looking good. — 10 years ago
