Champagne Nicolas Feuillatte was created in 1976 as an exclusive Reserve Champagne that today remains the guardian of their quality and style. A blend of 20% Chardonnay, 40% Pinot Noir and 40% Pinot Meunier. Pale yellow with plenty of tiny bubbles and aromas of stone fruits. On the palate peach, apple and pear with generous mineral tones. Lingering finish ending with citrus and chalky notes. — 8 years ago

Delicious oak on the nose translates to a soft, fruity white with a clean finish. First white release from Juan Antonio Ponce, guardian of this neglected region. — 11 years ago

Best wine I've had in a while. Hint of cranberries. Finish of plum. Verrrry smooth. — 9 years ago
Just silly smooth. Almost like a bold Pinot Noir but a little bolder. Finishes clean, slightly sweet at the end. Delicious right out of the bottle. — 9 years ago
From my friends on the West Coast. Guardian Cellars always a great bottle! — 10 years ago

Value priced rioja. Was popular with Dad and Mel. — 8 years ago
Such delightful stuff! Pineapple, alfalfa, lemon, great acidity... My better half says it reminds him of retsina, which cracks me up, but I can kind of see why his brain goes there. It's super interesting stuff. I don't drink it and go yum, I go "wow" and keep trying out of pure interest and secondarily because I like it. — 9 years ago

First sip was great and it just got better. Bold, earthy with notes of wood and fruit. Long, smooth finish. — 10 years ago
Powerful! Standing in a sweaty horse barn in a field of blueberries. Definitely on the earthy side but good acidity, lots of black and blue fruits and hints of black olive and soy sauce. Paired nicely with a very strong Mimolette Vieille cheese. — 10 years ago
Gun Metal continues to be Jerry's strongest showing, out of several quite impressive years at Guardian, across all wines. Outstanding representation of his blending skills! — 11 years ago
