Very interesting—so much of the color has faded in just a few years. Drinks like a dark rosé. Still, this showed really well and while the color has gone, the fruit is still very pretty. — 7 months ago
The Eyrie Vineyards, Pinot Gris, from the Dundee Hills of Oregon. Vintage 2017. ABV 12.5%.
Bright citrus and tart melon and cantaloupe notes with some salinity and wet stone influences. Very refreshing and youthful.
Easy to pair with food, we have paired it with roasted bok choy, aubergine, and brown jasmine rice. It goes nicely and doesn’t compete with the tamari and sesame flavors. — 3 years ago
I’m not a big fan of Pinot Gris, and the last time I tried an oregano Pinot Gris was probably about 4 years ago when I visited Portland, but this is really nice.
The fragrant nose was full of peach, lime, apricot, chalk, and ad ever so slightly hint of vanilla. Medium to full body with round palate and lovely acidity.

Bottle empty. This was Damn good. — 6 years ago
Smells like good yeasty bread, tastes like green melon and herbs (dill?) with a little bit of honey on top. Really strange trip of a blend 👌🏼 — 7 years ago
I love this wine. I love this wine because it exists all the way at the 'painstakingly clean and precise' end of the skin-contact spectrum. Don't get me wrong, I love the super-natty wild and wooly and of the spectrum too. But this. This is so purely and exactly what it sets out to be. And I love it. — 7 years ago

Beautiful golden color and floral mineral complex notes followed by a lifted palate firm texture and long almost biting finish. Sweetness is all subsumed. Great with a variety of dishes from salmon sushi bake to roast chicken. Yum. Thirty one years young! — 8 months ago
