"Ale brewed with cherries and aged in wine barrels," 7.1% ABV. — 12 years ago
Gorgeous beer. Brown in color, tinted red. Moderately sour with a light sweetness. The wine barrel comes through more than expected (it's vinous, with a subtle vanilla note) and integrates beautifully with the cherry. Hard to argue with Goose Island's Belgian lineup.
