Delicious and clean - never pretentious — 10 years ago

So sad to see Greg end his label because his wines are the real deal, authentic California with incredible balance and sensitivity. Will miss these wines. My final 2007 bottle. — 10 years ago

Bravo Greg!! 97 pts a stunning 2011 Pinot Noir — 11 years ago
Great freshness and purity. Ouster shell salinity, almond sweetness, pear blossom, citrus zest. Light clean palate. — 12 years ago
Wow, what a wonderful surprise. Rich, gorgeous Pinot from an extraordinary vineyard. I believe made by Greg La Follette, which explains a lot! — 12 years ago

Another outstanding effort from Greg Brewer at Melville. The indigene series of their Small Lot collection is almost always my favorite. Brilliant strawberry on the nose coming from clone 115, but the use of indigeneous yeast (as opposed to innoculation) always seems to impart a subtle complexity to this wine despite being a single clonal bottling. Terrific spice on the nose and palate that I always associate with Melville (but far more subtle and integrated that what one finds in the Verna's, for example), this is what Santa Rita Hills pinot is all about. This is not my favorite incarnation of the 115 Indigene - that was the 2006 - but this is still a terrific wine. Across the board, for my money Melville is the best quality/price ratio for pinot you're going to find anywhere in the Central Coast. — 10 years ago

I got plum, blackberry, leather and cinnamon right off. This also had an excellent finish, very non-tannic and smooth. I will definitely get more of this. Everyone dug it! — 10 years ago
Nice complexity and fruit that is somewhat more acidic than expected for a Shiraz but works really well and with a smooth finish — 11 years ago
Had with bone in ribeye, buttermilk Mac and cheese, and salad with blue cheese after decorating the Christmas tree. Acidy at first but opens nicely! — 12 years ago
Heavenly Chardonnay by Greg Brewer. Love this! So clean pure. — 10 years ago

Still in its infancy. Intense acidity, soft undertone of oak, structured and layered with minerality. 2010 — 10 years ago
Kudos to Greg Harrington! Wow! So 2011 was a "difficult" vintage. This wine is spectacular. Red raspberry compote with gooseberries and some other red fruits. Deep and dark with some incense and pepper. Did I say "Wow!"? Yes! — 10 years ago
My favorite for sure! — 10 years ago

Dark fruit, chocolate, mocha, & dirt. Pleasing/balanced tannins make this finish very smooth and pretty light. — 11 years ago
Surprised this one is not that well rated...

A mild sauv blanc with a delightful flavour. Less acid than Kim or other SB from the region, but this is likely my new favourite Sauv. — 9 years ago
