Gladys Knight definitely heard it through the grapevine on this wine. Grape roundness with hints of olive oil, citrus, and saline.

Sur-lee aged for 12 months. Brioche, pears, apples, but light bodied and fresh. — 8 years ago
Not much nose, quite closed. And it was even decanted. Must be going through a phase. But the taste is still elegant with stone, citrus, salt, just enough roundedness. Quite restrained. — 9 years ago
Super Chenin... Encore. — 9 years ago
Very easy drinking, smooth on palate and complemented well with roast veg tart. — 10 years ago

— 9 years ago

Et beh c'est bon! — 9 years ago
From split opened half hour before consumption. Earth, red fruit, and a hint of funk. Smooth tannins; searing acidity. Probably could use another five years to achieve better balance. — 9 years ago
There is a very pronounced earthy streak running through this one. The cherry aromas and flavors are there, for sure, but they are struggling to burst through a heavy layer of earthy sediment. I think of it as “dirty cherry.” The rustic nature actually makes me think of rusty, as in a piece of metal covered in iron oxide. The structure is a little weak, but that makes it very sippable. The minerals will go nicely with a piece of lean beef or pork. — 10 years ago
Being a huge PYCM fan that I am, this was the first "meh" bottle I've had. It was still Pierre-Yves with mouth-watering acidity, summer fruit aromas and all that — just a bit too toasty to my taste, a bit too much of pronounced oak. It lacked that masculine elegance that I'm after in PYCM wine, but still was delicious and lovely. — 10 years ago

Very nice Burgundy. Light and complex. — 11 years ago
I actually really enjoy the ones that have a couple grams of sugar. They're all over the place in Europe because we have all the ones that are too sweet in the states. — 13 years ago
