Very nice Michigan Pinot Noir with smoke and leather notes. Light color and body as in Oregon Pinots of 15-20 years ago. Light, dry fruits. With salmon, pasta, asparagus and beets salad. — 7 years ago
Good, solid, medium weight American Pilsner beer. I approve. — 8 years ago
Beautiful cranberry tea, auburn color. Big beer- alc, depth, rich bitter hops rounded by just the right amount of malt. This probably needs a couple years of aging. Caramlized grapefruit. Very dry in the mouth. Black tea. — 8 years ago

Fresh summer wine. Easy to drink. Buy again — 6 years ago
Wow, first time having. The label doesn’t lie. Rich, round and chocolate malt. Bourbon, maple syrup and coffee. Almost a dessert and that’s a compliment. — 6 years ago
Super rich, sweet, yummy — 7 years ago
A superb stout from the true craftsmen in Grand Rapids Michigan! Brewed for us! — 7 years ago
First off, this one has beautiful ruby color, and a great fresh raspberry aroma. The flavor opens with slightly tart raspberry, and a mild sweetness that builds in the mid-palate. The maltiness of the ale comes in at the finish. — 8 years ago
Dry Grand Traverse Riesling 2013. Hint of melon and pears. Went well with pan fried Great Lakes bass. — 8 years ago
Off-white cumulous clouds top a cloudy, nearly opaque cistern of Rich Amber. The lacing menaces like zombie fingers before succumbing to the murky cauldron; sparse bubble implore like confused eyes, disembodied. Tropical notes of rum cake and pineapple-banana cream with a suggestion of cocoanut turn cedar and apricot and lemon breads. Vanilla marks the creamy entry with almond and nougat, that turns bourbon ball quickly leaving you with fire and smoke and lemon tea. Whiskey and lemon become pronounced upon the contemplative conclusion! Light not too sweet easy to drink on an empty stomach. Purchased at Trader Joe's in Grand Rapids. Enjoyed the bottle with the roommate! — 7 years ago
One of the most overhyped beers ever! — 7 years ago
Another very solid IPA from Founders, showcasing Mosaic hops, citrus and Piny, orange peel, grapefruit, slight tropical hints, peach, pineapple, not too complex, just nice one dimensional mosaic hops, but that is good for those who do not understand how much one single hop can really make a very good IPA, just that very single Focus, gives you a deeper knowledge of how much one hop can defined a beer, and then you recognize that hop in other beers, but all that really means to be said about this beer, it is a very good beer in the style, and does exactly what it aims for, simply put, you like mosaic hops, this is the IPA for you — 8 years ago
14,15,16. Great. Junk. And very promising. Fun little vertical. — 8 years ago
